Having a safe and nonjudgemental space to explore thoughts and feelings while feeling heard and understood is an important part of the therapeutic process. I enjoy being a part of the transformative process, offering skills and fresh perspectives to guide you along the way and provide support as you navigate life's challenges which may include making important choices.
We will work together to address issues that are impacting you and work to improve emotional health, healing, and empowerment. I work with varied populations from young adults into retirement age. I provide counseling services to individuals, couples, and families through a person centered, CBT, DBT, ACT, Emotion Focused, EMDR, Solution Focused, Strength based and Trauma focused approaches.
Have you ever thought about stepping outside the confines of traditional in-office counseling? If you're seeking a different approach to therapy, Ecotherapy might be the perfect fit for you. Engage in counseling while immersing yourself in nature, whether it's through a walk and talk approach or more adventurous activities such as hiking or being near or on water. This is an optional service that unfortunately insurance does not cover at this time. If you wish to use insurance, we can still explore the healing qualities of nature that can be integrated into your life and explore methods to become more engaged in nature.
